On our first evening, we embark on a Vespa sidecar tour of Rome’s iconic landmarks and lesser-known corners (Audrey Hepburn–style outfits inspired by Roman Holiday optional).

No scooter experience, international driver’s license or skills to navigate Rome’s traffic are required. Our local partner will take care of everything while you relax and experience the Eternal City from a new perspective, stopping for photos along the way as our fun and knowledgeable guide brings Rome’s history and legends to life through your helmet headset.

Departing at dusk from our hotel near Piazza Navona, we set out to explore twelve (12) remarkable locations across the city. The evening includes a gourmet pizza dinner paired with Italian wine at Palazzo Rondanini, a Renaissance palace that many visitors pass by unnoticed.

As night falls over Rome, we conclude in front of the illuminated Colosseum, where we raise a toast to the unforgettable week ahead.

A twilight food tour through Trastevere, Rome’s most vibrant and artistic neighborhood. Known as “across the river,” this is where Romans come to unwind—naturally, with good food and drink at the center of it all.

As we stroll through this historic quarter, we uncover culinary gems and local spots that have stood the test of time since the days of the Roman Empire. Along the way, we savor some of Rome’s most beloved dishes, paired with regional beer and wine and learn how to distinguish authentic gelato from imitation versions. The experience concludes on a sweet note at one of the city’s top gelaterias.

This will be such a fun and relaxed evening. Come hungry and be ready for a few delightful surprises along the way.

Take an unforgettable journey through ancient history which begins at the legendary Colosseum, where our expert guide will bring to life the sounds of cheering crowds, blood stained sand and the fierce spectacles that entertained the Romans.

Next, we’ll wander into the Roman Forum, which was the heart of ancient Rome, buzzing with political and commercial activity and where stones hold more than echoes… they reveal tales of glory, deception, and power struggles.

Our exploration concludes on Palatine Hill, the birthplace of the Eternal City. Here, we'll discover the majestic ruins of imperial palaces and the echoes of emperors gone by while enjoying breathtaking panoramas of modern-day Rome.

We will immerse ourselves in Rome’s culinary culture through our private La Cucina Romana cooking class, after we, as a group decide which two of the region’s famous pasta dishes we will learn to make… whether you crave the creamy Carbonara, the savory Amatriciana, the flavorful Gricia or the classic Cacio e Pepe.

We’ll knead dough, cook, sip chilled Prosecco, laugh and learn all kinds of fascinating things about Italian food culture while creating a delicious lunch together.

And afterward? We’ll learn how to master one of Italy’s most iconic desserts, so you can recreate a little taste of Italy anytime you want, right in your own kitchen.

Of course, we’re not skipping the Vatican. We’ll experience the full awe of St. Peter’s Basilica with a priority-access tour that includes an unforgettable climb to the dome.
